Situational approach to conflict analysis and resolution

Abstract

The article explains an approach to understanding and dealing with conflicts on the basis of the situational approach. In accordance with the situational approach, confl icts are regarded as a social situation with all its characteristics and peculiarities of its origin and development. Efforts to resolve a conflict is described as a process of interaction between parties shifting from confrontational model to a model of cooperation.
