The Sovereignty of Psychological Space among Teens Living in Native and Non-native Cultures

Th is article describes the research of the properties of the psychological sovereignty among Russian, Jewish and Tatar teens. Th e main tool used in the survey was the questionnaire Sovereignty of psychological space (SPS) by S. K. Nartova-Bochaver. We obtained and analyzed empirical data on a sample of 219 teenagers (Mage = 15, SDage = 3). Th e most signifi cant factor of the sovereignty diff erences between three ethnic groups was a conflict between internal and external culture in which teenagers grow up.
