About the Journal

Founded in 2011, a peer-reviewed scientific journal Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. Psychology publishes original articles on various fields of psychology and is addressed to professional psychological community, as well as scientists working in related fields.

Edition of the journal Vestnik of St. Petersburg University. Psychology belongs to to St. Petersburg University which is one of the leading centers of psychological science in Russia. Activity of the Journal  is aimed at creating an open space of scientific dialogue between domestic and foreign scientists on pressing issues of modern psychological science.

Priority tasks of the Journal:

  • development and publication support of relevant scientific directions of modern psychological science
  • development of cooperation with domestic and foreign scientific centers and scientists belonging to various scientific schools and fields
  • promotion of domestic science in the information space of world science
  • ensuring and maintaining high standards of scientific research in psychological science

The Journal publishes materials related to the main fields of modern psychology - clinical psychology, developmental psychology, personality psychology, cognitive, social, organizational, educational and political psychology.

Published articles represent the current state of psychology, methodological and methodological problems of modern psychological science, and the challenging issues of the practical work of psychologists.

The academic reputation of St. Petersburg University makes attractive the publication in the Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. Psychology of both famous and young scientists, and also allows us to attract leading experts for peer-reviewing and selecting articles.

Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. Psychology is published quarterly.

The Journal is included in the list of the leading refereed academic journals and periodicals recommended by the Higher Attestation Committee at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, assigned for publication of the key results of doctoral dissertations (including the both Russian doctoral degrees: the PhD and the Doctor of Psychological Sciences).
